"Just a moment..." Kenneth J. Davies, Editor 2000 ~ 2005. By internet standards, five years is a long time. During that time this journal has served as a forum for many talented Canadian, American and international voices. Some prosaic, some poetic, some deeply probing, some deeply disturbing, and all of it worth the read. In that five year span, the world has changed. We're changing too. Many of you may be aware that this journal, heretofor international in representation on these pages, is based in western Canada -- Calgary, Alberta, where the high prairie bows at the feet of the majestic Canadian Rockies. And now, as the Province of Alberta celebrates its centennial year, and Canada emerges as a voice of reason and innovation on the troubled international stage, it is my deep conviction that this journal should serve foremost as a strong, independent and unique voice by Canadians, for Canada and the world. So you will see, in the coming months, an all-new Millennium Shift -- one that shows a distinctive Canadian face to the world. If you're a writer in any genre, and particularly if you are Canadian, check out our submissions guidelines and lend your unique voice and perspective to this eclectic forum. ----------------------------------------------- To our US friends and great past contributors -- You haven't been left out. The Beaver makes room for the Eagle: There will be an American Corner in the journal. See you all here soon. -- kjd ( Sample previous published submissions through: www.waybackmachine.org )__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/__/ Notices & Disclaimers / Contact Information: millenniumSHIFT is published under copyright of Hawkeye Studios at Calgary, Alberta, Canada -- Material that is published on this site may not be used, either in whole or in part, without the express permission of the authors/creators of such material.
